Our First Lady

Ouleye Ndoye Warnock is a global leader in human rights. She advocates for the health and education of people from underprivileged communities around the world. Over the last decade, Mrs. Warnock has received numerous fellowships to address human trafficking, refugee, health and education crises in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.

As the First Lady of Ebenezer Baptist Church, “America’s Freedom Church,” she and a group of new mothers led the founding of our MoMs Ministry, which helps to support new moms on their journey through pregnancy, childbirth, and those first critical early years of parenting. By creating community with other new moms, and moms-to-be, this Ministry serves as an integral part of the Ebenezer community experience for many of our members.

Mrs. Warnock graduated from Spelman College with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, and in the top 1% of her class with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies. She received her M.Sc. in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford’s Department of International Development and School of Anthropology, as the recipient of a Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme full-scholarship award. She also holds an M.A. in History from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she is pursuing her Ph.D.

Mrs. Warnock currently serves as the Senior Human Trafficking Fellow of the City of Atlanta, part of Mayor Bottom’s Executive team. In this role, she collaborates closely with Pathways to Freedom, “a public-private partnership dedicated to promoting innovative solutions to end modern day slavery in the United States and around the world.”

She resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Rev. Dr. Raphael G. Warnock, and their daughter. Passionate about promoting dignity and human rights for all people, she continues to dedicate her spiritual, academic, and public work to the betterment of society at home and abroad.
